JASON BUSS
With 22 years of human resources and talent acquisition leadership experience, Jason Buss is a recognized expert with deep experience in identifying, recruiting and hiring high-performing teams. He is currently the Vice President of Talent Acquisition for MongoDB.
Jason has authored and published content in, and has been quoted by The Huffington Post, Fast Company, Bloomberg, MarketWatch, Society for Human Resource Management, Corporate Executive Board and more.
He is the founder of the Recruiters Network, and serves as the president and community leader for several of the nation’s largest and most active regional recruiting communities including Minnesota Recruiters, California Recruiters, Denver Recruiters, Florida Recruiters, Wisconsin Recruiters, Michigan Recruiters and Oregon Recruiters.

MARYBETH MAINO
Marybeth is a Recruiting Manager at Capital One focusing on sourcing and recruiting senior HR talent across the enterprise. She brings over two decades of Talent Acquisition/ Sourcing experience with a strong passion and lens on Diversity & Inclusion. For those that know or have worked with her, a phrase you will hear often is “Recruiting is like dating...it needs to be a right talent match on both the candidate and client side so that it has the potential to be a Happily Ever After Destination Hire”
Marybeth grew up in Boston (BIG Boston Sports Fan), however, relocated to Central Virginia many years ago following her husband’s military career as a Navy Pilot. In her free time, she loves spending time with family, hiking/biking, celebrating the beginning of the day with coffee and the end of her day with wine! She and her family enjoy volunteering and giving back to the Autism community.
JAY BARROW
A proven expert in the Talent Acquisition space and brings 20 years of progressive management and recruitment experience, with proven strategies of successful recruitment using advanced technology in today’s extremely diverse and competitive job market. Jay’s accomplished background contains extensive work with colleges, varying aging & disability organizations, military bases, and veteran hiring networks. Jay’s employment history includes Fortune 500 companies where he has added tremendous value to organizations such as Capitol One, MeadWestvaco, Sara Lee, Altria, International Paper and Southern States Cooperative.
Jay has navigated work environments with the nuances encountered by Federal Contractors and supporting salaried and hourly workforces, in manufacturing, food, financial services, and other industries. Working in lock-step with upper management on forecasting staffing needs, he gets the information that’s required to facilitate pro-active recruiting to position a company strategically for fulfilling human capital needs.
Jay is a Richmond, VA native and a graduate of VA Tech with a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing Management and a minor in Cognitive Psychological Development. Jay holds certifications in a number of assessment and recruiting tools. He resides in Chesterfield, VA with his wife and three daughters and conveys strong family values that are so important when balancing work-life.
CATHLEEN REILLY
Cathleen joined Scott in 2016 with more than 16 years of experience in recruiting and 10 years of legal experience. After beginning her career as a litigation attorney, Cathleen began recruiting in the legal industry in 2000. In 2013, she joined a large commercial insurance company where she recruited for all departments and senior executive positions. Cathleen is passionate about building professional relationships through networking. She speaks regularly at events sharing her expertise and insights on resume writing, using social media for professional networking, interview preparation, and effective career search strategies. She is also active in the community and regularly volunteers to help others in their search for employment. Cathleen is a graduate of St. Joseph’s University in Philadelphia, PA, and received her J.D. from the Columbus School of Law at Catholic University in Washington, D.C.
Cathleen has two amazing children (Megan & Patrick) and a very large extended family. She grew up in the DC metro area and loves to visit DC. In her spare time, she enjoys hiking, kayaking, snorkeling, swimming and all the perks of being an empty nester (while strategizing on how she can see her kids more often!). Cathleen is a very big believer in networking and is very intentional about meeting new people and connecting people in the Richmond community
DAVID CLEMMONS
David Clemmons is a Talent Acquisition Manager and Veterans Recruiting Lead with Genworth Financial. With over 20 years of experience in recruiting which includes sourcing and people management, he has worked at multiple Fortune 500 organizations across the financial services and retail sectors as well as at a major public research university. He holds a Master of Business Administration and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration.
David views recruiting as being a professional matchmaker, determining the best match for the candidate and company. He has a strong passion for diversity and inclusion in recruiting and sharing best practices, learnings, and tools to drive efficiencies while ensuring a great candidate and client experience. He is actively engaged in several employee resource groups and has served as the Asian American Employee Resource Group Leader at Genworth.
In his spare time, you can find David volunteering, enjoying good eats at restaurants, listening to music, traveling but most importantly, spending quality time with family and friends.
JUDY HAMBLETON
Judy brings over 10 years of experience as a recruiter, identifying and hiring talent for the tech, engineering and financial industries. She currently recruits top talent for Corporate Development, Tax and Financial Analyst roles within Capital One. One of Judy's passions is training new recruiters and giving insight to best practices she has experienced firsthand. Judy sold recruitment software to the staffing and executive search industries for five years, which also included the healthcare industry. She has a passion for using emerging technologies to identify diverse talent. She truly enjoys helping candidates align their next career goal with the right opportunity and educating clients on best practices in talent acquisition.
Judy is a native Virginian, but has lived in Alabama, New Jersey and Vermont where she worked as a flight attendant shortly after graduating from James Madison University with a Bachelors in Business Administration. She enjoys running, hiking, traveling and spending time with her two teenage boys.
LINDSAY SPADORA
Lindsay obtained her degree in Marketing-Management from Virginia Tech (Go Hokies!). She has approximately 8 years of full life cycle recruiting and Human Resources experience specifically in legal and banking industries. Currently, Lindsay is a Senior Recruiter in Talent Acquisition at Capital One focusing on identifying top Administrative and Executive Assistant talent supporting high-level executives. Lindsay has a passion for matching talent with a position aligned with the candidate's career goals and ensuring all candidates have the best experience throughout the recruitment process.
Lindsay resides in Richmond with her husband and their two dogs (German Shorthaired Pointers). She enjoys the outdoors (National Parks and the Beach), traveling and spending time with friends and family!
